Story
A commitment phobic lone wolf, Randhir Singh (Sunny Deol) who is a broker in Chicago, is tired of his unexceptional life and decides to settle down in matrimony with Riya (Tannishtha Chatterjee), who he has been with for some time now. That is his New Year resolution. Riya too is upbeat and they are both set for a romantic dinner for two, to introduce the New Year. Plans have even been made to pack off his dad (Prem Chopra) who he lives with, to a club with his friends for a gathering.
Celebrating with his friends in the Health Club, which is his yearly ritual, Randhir has such a large number of drinks and is totally sloshed. A funny unforeseen development land him in New York at a similar location as his in Chicago, in the room of a house where Tikku ( Kangana Ranaut) a stranded music instructor, lives with her flatmate Vidya, an air lady.
A one night story on New Year’s Eve, where a series of misunderstandings occur among Tikku and her boyfriend Ishaan (Navin Chowdhry) owing to the nearness of Randhir, structures the core of the film. I Love NY cast and Plot details
Twist
Despite the fact that it is intended to be a romantic comedy and brings out a couple of giggles, the entire premise of the film is silly and unrealistic. The writing needs credibility and profundity. The love story offers a couple of seconds of relief and surprisingly, the chemistry among Kangana and Sunny Deol is tangible in a couple of scenes.

Sunny Deol as Randhir is definitely not the best choice to play a romantic person at his age. What’s more, obviously he is seriously lacking on the presentation front as well. In the scene where he frantically tries to look and act like a youngster, seemingly uncertain about how to propose to a girl, he is very unconvincing.
Kangana Ranaut, even in a nondescript film like this, gives a decent exhibition and plays the helpless girl seeking love, with conviction. She is sincere and endearing in a few scenes in spite of the fact that her character of a girl being dumped appears to be ordinary at this point. The scene where she is trying to charm her boyfriend who is irate with her, through a melody, is definitely one of the, or maybe, the main highlight of the film. She looks beautiful and lights into the screen with her regular depiction.

Songs
Tannishtha Chatterjee as Riya looks brilliant and spectacular and performs capability, albeit with limited screen time. Prem Chopra plays the loving dad with ease, yet doesn’t have an excessive amount to do. Reema Lagoo and Maya Alagh in a one-scene job are totally squandered.
British TV on-screen character Navin Chowdhry, playing Ishaan, depicts his character of the control-oddity and possessive boyfriend realistically, making you despise him. He has sizeable screen time as well, giving him enough extension. His phony American articulation when speaking in Hindi, lamentably goes ahead and off and is a bit jarring and amusing. 123Movies is your website if you want to watch this movie for free
The production quality of the film is acceptable and the cinematography and smooth edits merit a mention.
Conclusion
The tunes fit well into the narration, specially Aa Jaa Meri Jaan which is picturised beautifully.
